What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own the global strategy for your product through a deep understanding of and alignment with our business partner processes globally.
  • Lead the NetSuite product strategy, partnering closely with the Netsuite technical leader, billing and mid office teams to deliver complex finance transformation programs.
  • Manage and prioritize enhancements to NetSuite, aligning with evolving business processes and operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for NetSuite, identifying short-term improvements and long-term enhancements to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery by effectively translating complex requirements into actionable tasks for the product team.
  • Guide the product team in creating detailed requirements and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for NetSuite enhancements.
  • Partner with the Finance Operations team to implement effective change management processes, ensuring seamless adoption of NetSuite improvements.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to set the product direction and priorities by maintaining a product roadmap and participating in the tech-wide planning sessions.
  • Oversee requirements gathering for changes ranging from small all the way to large scale new acquisitions.
  • Function as the vendor relationship manager for any third-party systems in your portfolio. This includes periodic meetings, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring timely payments to the vendor.
  • Support audits—both system and finance—and perform a monthly review of privileged user activity in the system. Ensure all SDLC documentation is complete and current.
  • Directly lead and mentor a team of product managers and system administrators. Oversee an outsourced support desk for issues and requests logged by end users.
  • Provide consultation and support on complex business or system admin issues as needed.
  • Produce data, metrics, status reports, or other materials on a routine and ad hoc basis.
  • Monitor system performance and drive product improvements based on available and gathered data.
  • Support reconciliation processes using Blackline, ensuring accurate and timely financial reconciliations and certifications.

What We're Looking For:

  • 10 years of product management or functional experience with one or more ERP system, NetSuite preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of AR/AP/FA/GL/Intercompany modules are essential.
  • Experience in maintaining the product backlog in JIRA, agile methodology is a must.
  • Strong background in change management, ideally with experience in finance operations and accounting functions.
  • Prior experience working in a tech organization and familiar with customized automations and integrations. Prior product management experience is strongly desired.
  • Able to understand and consider the user experience when proposing or agreeing to product enhancements.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to provide crisp and clear communications to senior leaders, business partners, and employees alike.
  • Ability to be assertive but respectful when collaborating with various business partners.
  • Previous leadership experience in leading large ERP functional teams, preferably in an international/global setting.
  • Familiarity with Blackline for reconciliation processes is a plus.
  • Able to gain the support and respect of your employees by empowering them to act without supervision but still provide support and guidance when needed.
  • Have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects or tasks. Respond quickly to requests for information or support.
  • Educational or work experience background in accounting or finance or a related field or MBA is preferred. Travel industry knowledge is not required, but a plus.

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $110,000 to $220,000.  The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
