Senior Technical Support Engineer – Fire Suppression Systems

<p></p><p></p><p><b>The Technical Support Engineer</b> supports sales and growth initiatives in East Europe, Poland and Baltics by providing technical/design support and training services activities for <b>Fire Suppression Systems</b>.</p><p>The Engineer is in direct contact with customers and/or via first line customer support in our branches.</p><p>The Technical Support Team collaborates very closely with Sales, global functional teams such as Product Management and aligned with the global Tech Services group.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Provide Technical &amp; Specification Support to Sales Team and Customers</li><li>Support the full product range of Fire Suppression Systems</li><li>Communicate with consultants, designers, project managers, and end users</li><li>Using JCI softwares for hydaraulic calculation and design of Sprinkler Systems, Foam Systems and Gaseous Suppression Systems.</li><li>Provide Design Services and Engineering of typical system solutions</li><li>Provide advice and support projects by applying JCI solutions according to international codes &amp; standards (such as NFPA, FM, EN, VdS)</li><li>Project team member for large projects</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Skills</b></p><ul><li>Good verbal and written command of English, additional languages (Neighbour countries) are preferable,</li><li>Degree in mechanical engineering or similar background through education or experience.</li><li>Experience in designing and engineering Fire Protection and Fire Suppression systems.</li><li>Creation and understanding of piping lay-outs</li><li>Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, REVIT experience is highly desirable</li><li>Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain relevant technological and business concepts that impact our business</li><li>Good communication and presentation skills, problem solver</li><li>Willingness to travel (occasional travel to customers )</li></ul><p></p><h3>What We Offer:</h3><ul><li><p><span><b>Exciting Work Environment</b>: Opportunity to participate in diverse and engaging projects within the modern facilities of a global technology company.</span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Competitive Compensation Package</b>: Permanent employment contract and fringe benefits.</span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Stability</b>: Enjoy secure employment in a clean and safe working environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span><b>Additional Benefits</b>: Cafeteria plan.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-AF1</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p>
