Welcome to Bosch!</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Detect and assess problems: resolve; debug; troubleshoot; to provide solutions to automated systems, robotic malfunctions, and reliability issues</li><li>Work independently with little to no direction to determine and implement corrective actions on equipment and processes</li><li>Ensure proper safety procedures are always in use and utilized / followed</li><li>Perform equipment start-ups and shutdowns, modifications, and upgrades on all automation systems</li><li>Respond in a timely manner to all issues to ensure productivity and efficiency of automated systems</li><li>Provide technical support to improve equipment operations and performance</li><li>Maintain all production equipment in good, clean, and functioning condition</li><li>Apply appropriate preventative maintenance (PM) methods in planned and unplanned maintenance requests</li><li>Understand and analyze interactions between all components and systems: mechanical, servo, robotic, electrical, etc.</li><li>Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly fashion</li><li>Understand the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLC), as well as servo drives, vision systems, laser marking systems, etc.</li><li>Assist in implementation of new equipment and sub-assembly systems</li><li>Work cooperatively with the Manufacturing team</li><li>Other projects as assigned by manager</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Associate degree in mechatronics, factory automation, robotics or similar field or equivalent experience</li><li>Minimum three years’ experience working with automated systems, mechanical, electrical and/or robotic technical maintenance</li><li>Basic PLC understanding and troubleshooting</li><li>Allen Bradley Studio 5000 (preferred), or equivalent ladder logic programming</li><li>Basic robotic knowledge, understanding of functions, and programming; EPSON (preferred), FANUC, UR or similar</li><li>Experience with 3D and 2D modeling systems; CREO Parametric (preferred), Solidworks, AutoCAD Inventor, AutoCAD</li><li>Ability to communicate with Manufacturing management, engineers, and technicians</li><li>Demonstrated technical aptitude and a strong desire for continuous improvement</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li></ul><ul><li>Other responsibilities as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:</p><ul><li>Lift and move up to 40 pounds without assistance</li><li>Must have sharp hearing and ability to discern tones at various levels</li></ul><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><ul><li>Work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high</li><li>Exposure to oil, oil odor and some sealants such as Loctite</li><li>Must be able to wear safety glasses, latex gloves and safety shoes as required</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>The hourly pay range for this position is $25 to $30 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
