What will your day look like?

The principal consultant is responsible for understanding the end state supply chain business process and driving the software solution to enable those processes. This role is responsible for driving the business solution into the user community and they will direct, train and consult with the ArchLynk and Client teams. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of application systems and industry requirements. The principal consultant should be an expert in SAP APO, SAP IBP and other planning solutions.

• Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 8- 10 years related experience.
• 5 years of operational/IT knowledge of best in practice of supply chain related processes, planning, inventory management. Transportation and Warehousing a plus.
• Understanding of Inventory Strategies/Policies. Advance stocking methods, Multi Echelon Optimization, Advance Safety Stock Planning.
• Experience in Sales & Operations Planning.
• Experience in APO Demand Planning, BW a plus.
• Working knowledge in APO SNP Capacity Planning (rough-cut and detailed) a plus.
• Working knowledge in Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP).
• Understanding of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand and S&OP.
• Understanding of SAP Integrated Business Planning Response and Supply.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience implementing SAP APO-DP.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience implementing SAP APO-SNP for manufacturing / production planning.
• At least 3 years’ experience in understanding planning area aggregates and planning book customization using standard and custom macros, and custom planning bucket profiles.
• Basic knowledge of ECC to APO Core Interface, SAP ECC MM/PP, SAP ECC MRP, ABAP debugging a plus, Issue resolution.
• At least 2 years’ experience in understanding of ECC’s basic Logistics Execution processes.
• Provide SAP configuration expertise by working with the business process specialists and document the functional expertise and knowledge.
• Develop and document as-is/to-be business processes, configuration scripts, and other associated business requirements, and functional specifications from end user requirements.
• Understands integration requirements between DP, BW, Production Planning / Manufacturing, Sales Order Processing, Materials Management, and LES modules of SAP.
• Interface with end users to ensure system functionality is effectively enabling business processes.
• Must be effective in meeting with users and management to define complex business. requirements in sufficient detail to determine the appropriate SAP configuration or development required, or to document why the requirement cannot be satisfied by an SAP-based solution.
• Understanding of basic project management processes and techniques.
• Understanding of SAP ASAP Methodology or similar.
• Experience in software development strategies and processes. SDLC.
