Team Lead-Clinical Informatics

(This is a hybrid role requiring some on premise work in Indiana)

This position will assist in leading the Clinical Informatics Adoption/Education/Training division. Team Leads will be responsible for training new team members, leading/developing projects around adoption and/or training, and gather metrics around training and coaching for the Inpatient and Outpatient areas of IU Health. The team lead will be requested to meet with individuals from the team to help enhance their work and knowledge, as well as perform duties regarding Training/Coaching of the Cerner EMR.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees day-to-day functions within a team and provides advice and guidance as necessary. 
  • Conducts training sessions with employees so they feel equipped with new knowledge and skills to remain current. 
  • Utilizes expertise to assist in dispersing assignments and reviews assignments for accuracy and quality. 
  • Develops strategies for the team to utilize to reach goals.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

  • 3-5 years training and analytical support experience in a clinical IT setting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong experience in developing relationships with end users and team members
  • Self-Starter and able to coordinate/organize multiple projects
  • 3-5 years work experience with Cerner EMR

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Requires knowledge in business or clinical applications and supporting technology.
