Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy innovative, next-gen applications within the Oracle Cloud ERP ecosystem.
- Translate complex customer business problems into scalable technical solutions by developing robust design documents and breaking down use cases into clear, actionable components.
- Build customer-centric applications that deliver intuitive user experiences and solve real-world, enterprise-grade challenges.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, User Experience (UX), Quality Assurance (QA), and other engineering stakeholders to drive feature development from concept to release.
- Apply hands-on coding expertise using technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, Java, J2EE, VBCS, and Helidon.
- Optimize application performance using SQL tuning techniques and other performance engineering practices.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in building high-quality, maintainable software.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly present ideas in both technical and business-friendly language.
- Work effectively both independently and within a collaborative, fast-paced virtual team environment spanning global time zones.
- Show enthusiasm for learning and developing domain expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP.
Preferred Qualification
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience in building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
- Proficiency in Java, PL/SQL, JSON, XML. Hands on experience in at least one scripting language is a plus (e.g., Python, Shell, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Applications or other ERP systems is a strong plus.
- Experience working with RESTful web services and knowledge about microservices based architecture is a plus.
- Solid understanding of SQL tuning, performance optimization, and database design best practices.
- Exposure to modern development tools and practices such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and evolving business requirements.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $84,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
