POSITION SUMMARY

The eCommerce Sales Analyst is responsible for transforming sales and digital shelf data into actionable insights to execute MegaFood's e-Commerce growth strategies and deliver profitable sales. This role will research and report on this highly dynamic space to capitalize on customer, brand, channel, and category trends and opportunities. The e-Commerce Sales Analyst will interact with sales account teams, cross-functional partners, and executive leadership, and reports to the Senior Account Manager, eCommerce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

  • Create, maintain, enhance, and present accurate and timely KPI reporting for the e-Commerce businesses

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to deliver actionable insights related to Category, Competition, and Segment performance of Vitamin, Mineral & Supplement products sold on e-Commerce channels such as Amazon

  • Partner with key stakeholders to provide innovation support that includes insights into keywords, claims, strengths, and consumer sentiment

  • Work closely with the Sr. Manager, Sales to refine business models and processes to drive continuous improvement in supporting key e-Commerce accounts such as Amazon

  • Ensure catalog data integrity and sync between multiple databases

CAPABILITIES & SKILLS REQUIRED

In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 2+ years of eCommerce or CPG sales analysis, field sales, and/or category management experience with national accounts. Experience in VMS (Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements) or HBA (Health & Beauty Aid) category preferred

  • Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate knowledge of Power Point and advanced knowledge of Excel; and ability to effectively utilize Excel to create and manipulate data into useful insights that can be leveraged to grow the business. Data visualization tool experience such as Power BI and Tableau is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. Highly detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to translate data into a strategy and effectively present to and influence internal and external clients

  • Experience with customer-specific data, reports, and analytical tools such as Stackline, Profitero, IRI, Nielsen, Salsify, or Amazon Seller Central

  • Competent knowledge of the vitamin industry in Food, Drug, Mass Merchandising, and Digital/e-Commerce channels preferred

  • Knowledge of digital sales drivers / e-Commerce KPIs and associated metrics that impact conversion preferred

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Fabric is a plus
