POSITION SUMMARY:

Advanced Energy is looking for an experienced Test Automation Architect to join our team in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Working within a team supporting the software development process, the Automation Architect will collaboratively design and develop automation solutions to support test services. The Architect will also use their deep knowledge of the quality assurance discipline to mentor team members on the most effective way to implement test automation services.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum of 5 years of software test development experience
• Understanding of software quality best practices
• Full Stack Developer
• Deep understanding of testing concepts
• Experience integrating manual and automated test solutions
• Experience designing and implementing the architecture of a hybrid automation framework
• Experience with standard automation frameworks
• Experience with CICD pipelines
• Back-end testing experience using SQL
• C#, C++, .NET, Python experience
• Team player and mentor role

 

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:

• Object Oriented experience
• Git experience

 

DESIRED:

• National Instruments TestStand experience
• Experience using Atlassian tools

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Regularly working in office and lab with power output up to 60 kW.

 

EDUCATION:

• MS (preferred) in computer science or computer engineering or relevant engineering discipline

 

COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $105,000 to $145,000 per year.
