Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This position works primarily in a warehouse environment. You will perform receiving functions, stock, pick/pack, and deliver medical supplies from the Distribution Center (UCDC) to UCLA Health's hospital and ambulatory clinics.Ā
Responsibilities include:
- Complete shipments by processing and loading orders and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
- Completes deliveries by driving truck or van
- Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and report any missing or lost inventory to management
- Provides quality service by following organization standards
- Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
- Train, and evaluate new storekeeper staff to ensure high performance and accountability.

Salary Range: $23.27-28.92 Hourly
Job Qualifications

Required:
- Current CA Driver's License with good driving record (subject to DMV Pull).
- Experience in inventory or warehouse management system.
- Ability to operate a University vehicle to deliver supplies to multiple off-site locations.
- Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience utilizing heavy duty transport carts, furniture dollies, supply dollies, cargo van, box truck, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and forklift.
- Ability to maintain equipment, truck, and van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs
