POSITION OVERVIEWAs a technical program manager of FETC technology planning and scouting team, you will be responsible for supporting the key growth initiatives of renewable system business in the US region by discovering business/technological cooperation opportunities with US advanced research institutes. This role will collaborate with core tech development team and manage specific research programs with core tech development team and outside program partners. This role will be responsible for the creation and delivery of analysis that enables data-driven, informed decision-making in new and changing technology environments, and presentation to the HQ system development center.This position reports to the team leader of the FETC technology planning and scouting team and will be located in Santa Clara, California.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle: Concepts, Requirements, Design, Prototype, Testing, Release, and Support for energy system products. However, in the beginning, the focus will be the introduction of our existing products in eh US market.
• Technical program manager for specific FETC technical program
• Lead the technical program progression, the technology transfer to development, and flag any issues
• Collaborate with internal and external customers, such as core tech development, product management, and other engineering teams
• Strategically evaluate technology collaboration partner candidates
• Provide regular updates and communicate with the cross-functional teams to ensure schedule, cost, and performance alignment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or M.S. in science, engineering
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management in power device sectors, e.g. DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, ESS, etc. for renewable energy applications
• 3+ energy industry experience is preferred; familiarity with renewable energy and related technology preferred
• Strong project management skills and can manage scope, meet timelines, and present insights to senior leaders within the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate with cross-functional teams and external organizations
