Position Type: Part-Time | Weekend Coverage Providing assistance to full-time APP (patient rounding, admission & discharges)

Pay: $500/shift

Coverage:
Saturday/Sunday: minimum of 2 weekends/month  Average hours onsite: 7 am-1 pm

Job Qualification:

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Valid state licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Proven clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, preferably in a primary care or specialty setting.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Dedication to providing patient-centered care with a focus on compassion, empathy, and respect.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest medical advancements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Average rounding census: 15 to 20 patients.
• Time management, efficiency, and proactive communication will be key to success.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions within the scope of practice.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, therapies, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
