We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate the systems, tools, and cloud services that power large-scale machine learning and agent-based workflows. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and software engineering to enable applied scientists to efficiently and reliably train, evaluate, and deploy state-of-the-art AI models.
You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, platform, and applied science teams to deliver secure, high-performance, and highly available AI infrastructure that accelerates innovation across Oracle’s GenAI ecosystem.
- Design, deploy, and operate cloud-native infrastructure components—including compute, storage, and distributed systems—to support AI/ML model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Build and maintain automation pipelines for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
- Optimize performance and cost efficiency through cluster tuning, workload scheduling, caching strategies, data preprocessing pipelines, and system-level optimizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in large-scale distributed environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement and enforce strong security and compliance standards, including access control, encryption, vulnerability management, and auditability.
- Partner closely with applied scientists and platform engineers to gather requirements and deliver seamless, low-friction ML workflows.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure designs, APIs, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging trends in AI infrastructure, agent frameworks, and cloud-native technologies, and evaluate their applicability to production environments.
Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
