Barbaricum is seeking a military trained EOD Instructor to work as part of our Contracted Logistics Support (CLS) team supporting the training and equipping of Army organizations worldwide.  In this position you will perform maintenance and training activities under the program contract, with a focus on components of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Tools and Equipment Kit (ETEK) equipment assigned.  

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the development and execution of training plans for CLS personnel
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all matters pertaining to EOD use of Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (CREW) and specialized tools, as well as Tactics, Training and Procedures (TTP)
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on PM CCS systems utilizing Government and furnished technical documentation to perform system diagnostics and fault isolation to root cause failures
  • Prepare training materials and equipment to conduct training, in garrison and occasionally under field conditions.
  • Travel to authorized locations to respond to calls for corrective maintenance; perform scheduled maintenance and upkeep of systems
  • Attend informational meetings that support improvements to equipment maintenance and training support
  • Provide information and other experience acquired during support to PM CCS concerning the actions performed during the conduct of training and maintenance

Qualifications

  • Past military experience as an Army EOD Technician (MOS 89D or 17E) (or other service equivalent) required
  • Must have attended an approved instructor training course, such as FIFC, ABIC or ITC and have Two (2) years serving as a certified military equipment instructor
  • Six (6) years of experience since 2000 in maintenance and training of fielded military equipment
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Proven communication skills (written and verbal). Knowledge and proficiency of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must be able to meet CRC deployment requirements
