Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior DS, uplifting a model’s accuracy by even a 1% improvement can lead to millions of dollars in revenues.

About the role of the Senior Data Scientist:

• Building Machine Learning (ML) models and deploying them to production on a giant scale (we serve 2bn devices globally and handle 200bn requests every day) 
• Using ML models which are at the heart of our technology to serve the following use-cases:
• Predicting mobile users’ favorite games based on their gaming and behavioral history
• Predicting the value of the user’s in-app transactions for mobile game developers 
• Optimizing our bidding prices and strategy in real-time auctions (RTB)
• Optimizing infrastructure utilization
• Detecting and eliminating fraud
• Detecting image content in ads
• Collaborating with super-smart employees from different domains - Backend, Data Engineering, Frontend, Product, Business and other Data Scientists who work on building ML models for our company
• Working with the following cutting-edge technologies:
• GCP
• Google BigQuery
• Databricks and Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL)
• Python and classic ML libraries
• PyTorch + PyTorch Lightning
• Experiment Management platforms such as: MLFLOW, Optuna

About you as the Senior Data Scientist:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field with a focus on applied statistics, AI, machine learning or related fields
• Experience in the AdTech industry (Ad Network specifically) is a must
• 5+ years of experience as a Data scientist in the tech scene
• Ability to mentor others, work in teams, teach and learn from peers
• Ability to lead projects from A - Z, and specifically in the data science domain - from research (both academic and practical!) to production, including model deployment, monitoring, AB testing, and impact!
• Strong coding capabilities in Python and SQL
• Experience with ML models around tabular datasets 
• Previous work with with cloud environments
• Experience with AB testing and statistical analysis (including sig. testing)
• Prior experience with both batch prediction + real time prediction deployment patterns
• Knowledge of basic and advanced concepts of Machine Learning
• Advantage experience with ML models in production, Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, MLFLOW, and Big Data related technologies
