DC First Class Chief Engineer– Joint Base Anacostia- Bolling

The DC First Class Chief Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment in the power plants as well as the building operations per site requirements. Also, responsible for notification and organizing personnel in response to emergency calls after hours. The Chief is responsible for supervision of engineer leads and/or all personnel that have been placed under their direction, scheduling, assigning and completion of all preventive maintenance tasks and service orders for equipment associated with the power plant and/or the building. The Chief reports directly to the site manager/project manager or deputy and is responsible for all associated reports involving the equipment in the main power plants as well as the building if required by site.

Salary

$58.11/ hr. plus employer paid health benefits and pension

Requirements

• MUST Have TS/SCI
• MUST have a DC 1st Class Engineer License
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Regular, dependable attendance
• U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations
