About the role
Fluidra is looking for a Customer Service Representative I to join our team in Sparks, MD. WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE The Customer Service Representative I will serve as the frontline of our Customer Service Team. This position requires technical skills related to understanding and resolving customer concerns, with a friendly customer-focused attitude both in-person and during calls. Additionally, you will:
- Provide customer support via telephone and email, assisting with product selection, updates, problem resolution, and order processing through our Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system.
- Communicate customer feedback to appropriate teams across Sales, Quality Assurance, Technical, Production, Administration, Accounting, and Marketing departments.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of Fluidra’s product offerings to address customer concerns, ensuring satisfaction while adhering to organizational policies.
- Manage specialized tasks, including sample orders, faxed orders, and private account management for at least two client accounts.
- Onsite training is required for the first 4–6 weeks at our Sparks, MD location to ensure a comprehensive onboarding experience.
- Following the training period, the role transitions to a hybrid model, with the expectation to work onsite one day per week, plus additional days as needed for team meetings, training sessions, or business needs.
- A minimum of 2 years in customer service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel) is required.
- Reside within 50 miles of Sparks, MD
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams and independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to develop and manage project plans, set clear goals, and document progress or issues accurately.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability to professionally navigate challenging situations with customers.
- Chemistry background or relevant degree is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
