Is knowledgeable of Consumer rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all consumers in a safe, secure environment. • Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs as outlined within the facility handbook, on-going in-service training, etc. • Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment. o Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers or consumers regarding reported complaints, problems and concerns. o Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned. • Nursing staff must arrive on time daily for your designated shift: 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm – 7:30am. • Upon arriving for designated shift, complete an initial round of assigned unit and verbal report with nurse being relieved. • A mandatory narcotic count must be completed by both Licensed Nurses.
RequirementsValid LPN license issued by Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. • Valid CPR certification. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities Excellent reading, writing, grammar using the English language. • Ability to make independent and good judgement decisions within proper policy and procedures. • Ability to manage multiple priorities/task. • Exhibit strong judgment and decision-making skills. • Computer literate. • Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations. • Auditory and visual skills. • Must be able to work within and promote a team atmosphere.
