Then you may be the person we are looking for. </p><p>We are expanding our team of Senior Marine Leads for the Offshore Logistics team in Generation (O&M). Our department is broadly involved in all maritime aspects of operation and maintenance of our windfarms, and to complement the team we are looking to expand the team with additional maritime competences . Your role will be to act as the maritime expert on the vessels utilized in our windfarms in operation. This means that you will be involved in all aspects of this, such as development of new solutions, contracting, and auditing of vessels and suppliers.</p><p>As mentioned you will be part of the Offshore Logistics team, which resides within Offshore Wind Generation. We are a team that today consists of 7 colleagues, working on maritime and aviation topics relevant for our operating windfarms including those to come.</p><p><strong>Your tasks and responsibilities include: </strong></p><ul><li>Subject matter expert on vessel related matters</li><li>Participation in tendering activities relating to vessels for Generation.</li><li>Ownership and maintenance of technical requirements</li><li>Vessel and supplier auditing</li><li>Input provider on cost assumptions within area of responsibility, including keeping track of market intelligence</li><li>Operational advisor, including review of documentation</li><li>Key contributor for innovation projects and evaluation of future technologies</li><li>Participate in supplier interactions in close liaison with internal stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong>Location </strong></p><p>The Offshore Logistics team is spread across four different offices in Northern Europe. Therefore we are open to applications based in our main locations; Kolding (DK), Amsterdam (NL), Hamburg (DE) or London (UK).</p><p>We do offer the flexibility of working remotely, but expect you to live close enough to your location of choice to be able to be in the office on a daily basis if required.</p><p>This position is primarily office based, however some business travel is to be expected.</p><p><strong>Be in your element with BA Wind </strong></p><p>As part of BA Wind you will play a key role in one of the most exciting pipelines in the industry with 24GW of capacity stretching out more than a decade ahead across our key European markets.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Essential competences and experience</strong></p><ul><li>A bachelor or masters degree in a relevant discipline such as e.g. Marine Engineer, Master Mariner or Naval Architect with professional experience</li><li>5-10 years relevant experience working in a Marine & Offshore Logistics field, preferably within the offshore wind sector</li><li>Strong understanding of vessel regulatory requirements, design and performance</li></ul><p><strong>Language</strong></p><ul><li>A strong command of English (written and verbal) is a prerequisite for the role</li></ul><p><strong>General</strong></p><ul><li>Great communication skills, comfortable with daily interaction with a broad variety of internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Ability and willingness to work in diverse teams with many different cultures</li><li>Be a team player capable of sharing their knowledge within the wider organisation</li><li>Hold, or able to complete, GWO mandatory offshore basic health and safety training</li><li>Willing to visit offshore work locations including Wind Turbine Generators, Offshore Support Platforms and marine vessels in use by Offshore Wind Generation</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Looking for a career with growth? </strong></p><p>The scale and ambition of our wind, battery and solar business means you can really find your element with us.
