We are seeking an experienced Duty of Care professional with deep AI knowledge and practical hands-on experience to lead our global Duty of Care program. The Duty of Care Senior Manager is responsible for the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of the company’s Travel Risk Management, Workplace Violence Prevention, Kidnap & Ransom (K&R) program, and our Workforce Assurance (backgrounds and drug testing protocols) leveraging Global Security, GSOC, Crisis Management, HR, and matrixed business partners. This role ensures Applied Materials meets its duty of care obligations to employees who travel, work at, or are otherwise exposed to these type risks during company business.

The position partners closely with Global Security, Executive Protection, GSOC, Crisis Management, HR, Employee Relations, Legal, IT, Corporate Travel Services, Facilities, Risk Management, and executive leadership to design and maintain scalable, risk-based travel safety, workplace violence prevention, and K&R response solutions across global sites and business units. Beyond individual use, this leader will assist in the development and execution of the strategy to scale AI across the Duty of Care function, embedding AI-driven capabilities into monitoring, exercises, and reporting so that the entire program becomes faster, smarter, and more resilient over time.

To keep pace with this growth, the Duty of Care function must scale rapidly across an increasingly complex global footprint, and AI is central to that strategy. The Duty of Care Senior Mana
