Job Summary

Summary<br>Responsible for helping patients with personal hygiene, minor medical needs, housekeeping, and other daily needs as required by the patient.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>Yes<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Helps patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks. <br>
-Performs basic health care services for patients, including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication. <br>
-Helps with general light housekeeping. <br>
-Makes transportation arrangements as needed. <br>
-Observes and reports on patient's condition. <br>

 

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Certified Home Health Aide - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Experience Clinical/Hospital/Managed Care Office Experience 1-2 years preferred or Patient Care Experience 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledgeable in patient care practices including personal care, homemaking and basic health care services. - Ability to work with limited supervision. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. - Have good personal hygiene. - Able to do light housekeeping. - Good communication skills both written and oral.
