SALARY RANGE
$ 36,245.82 - $72,491.64 Annually $1,394.07 - $2,788.14 Bi-weekly
Position Summary
Employees of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities are required to demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service. This includes, but not limited to, acting in a responsive, professional, courteous manner with the employees, customers and public we serve at all times.
The Work You Will Do
Provide consultation related to nursing and medical service provision as part of the significant additional needs processes. Use current rules, laws and procedures to provide clear and accurate clinical recommendations or responses to inquiries and concerns from consumers, agency staff, and other stakeholders on or before assigned deadlines.
Conduct cost plan/significant additional needs reviews to ensure compliance with state and federal rules and procedures. Exercise independent judgement to make decision or prepare complete and concise recommendation for supervisory approval. Participate in hearings related to recommendations for significant additional needs.
Use current rules, laws, and procedures to provide technical assistance to Waiver Support Coordinators, State Office, and Regional staff on matters related to cost plan/significant additional needs reviews and decisions, with an emphasis on nursing and medical service provision.
Performs other duties as assigned.
