General Position Statement:

An Information Systems Analyst I would be responsible for writing and testing code for new features, working with senior developers to debug and maintain existing code, and contributing to the overall development process. They would also be expected to attend meetings, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve their coding skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop simple database applications to organize and analyze information for all departments of BankPlus.
• Updating and maintaining various applications (SQL, Web, Interfaces, Reporting, etc.) as needed by BankPlus employees.
• Working with senior developers and other team members.
• Provide technical support for all departments.
• Provide other technical assistance as needed.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Participation in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections Program.
• Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.

Position Requirements:

• Microsoft Certification or equivalent.
• Less than two years’ experience in Information Technology.
• General computer and typing experience Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Work, and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of database design or structures and tables using relational SQL server or Oracle.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SQL, .Net, Java, Python, C#, Microsoft Visual Studio software).
• Driving, and occasional travel, as needed for business purposes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Knowledge of the different stages in the software development life cycle.
