Hourly rate: $23.00 per hour

Location: San Ysidro School District School Site

Schedule: Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Must be available to work until 7 p.m. two evenings per week to meet the various needs of the program.

Program:

SBCS' Outpatient Clinic program offers a comprehensive array of outpatient therapeutic services for children and adolescents. Services include (1) individual therapy, (2) family therapy, (3) crisis intervention, (4) case management, (5) group therapy and (6) linkage to additional SBCS and community resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Outpatient Program Director and Department Director, the Youth and Family Development Associate (YFDA), is responsible for providing case management and crisis intervention services to SBCS’ clients, families and the community, including in a school setting. YFDA also coordinates advocacy efforts for youth/families serviced within and across the system of care and assist youth/families in locating, coordinating and developing informal and formal resources and networks in the communities where they reside and/or attend school.

Services will be in keeping with agency goals, objectives, mission and style and provided within a team framework. YFDA is responsible for working with the team in developing team goals and objectives and in meeting those goals and objectives.

DUTIES:

• Complete all required case file documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
• Maintain required caseload size and minimum billable units for services.
