Our Valuation Services practice in Paris is specialized in assisting multi-sectorial clients with the valuation of businesses, legal entities, intangible assets (tradenames and patents) and complex financial instruments within the framework of strategic projects including mergers & acquisitions, reorganization, financial restructuring, stock market transactions and commercial litigation, for governance, financial reporting, tax and management planning purposes (Business Valuation).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the Senior Associate includes:
- Performing valuation analysis for a wide range of private and public corporate clients.
- Understanding the client’s business model and strategy, as well as the industry challenges.
- Interviewing clients to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement.
- Analysing financial statements and business plans.
- Selecting and applying the most appropriate valuation approaches depending on the purpose of the valuation and the context.
- Preparing and presenting the results of the analysis in a clear, concise and argued manner.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff for analyses, reports, and presentations.
- Building client relationships and acting as a direct contact with current and prospective clients.
- Drafting proposals, presentations and publications communicated to current and prospective clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree, graduated from a leading Business or Engineering School.
- Minimum 3-4 year experience in finance (audit, valuation, M&A, other financial analyses).
- Sound technical knowledge in corporate finance, valuation methods and accounting (IFRS and French GAAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience including managing and developing client relationships.
- Taste for teamwork, as well as for supervising and coaching junior staff.
- Robust capacity in financial modelling and mastery of software tools.
- Excellent knowledge of French and English required.

Le rôle de Senior Associate comprend :
- Effectuer des analyses d’évaluation pour un large éventail de clients Corporate, privés et publics.
- Comprendre le modèle d’affaires et la stratégie du client, ainsi que les défis de l’industrie.
- Conduire des entretiens avec les clients, afin de recueillir des données et des renseignements nécessaires à la réalisation de la mission.
- Analyser les états financiers et les plans d’affaires.
- Sélectionner et mettre en œuvre les approches d’évaluation les plus appropriées en fonction de l’objet de l’évaluation et du contexte.
- Préparer et présenter les résultats de l’analyse de façon claire, concise et argumentée.
- Superviser et encadrer les équipes juniors pour les analyses, les rapports et les présentations.
- Construire des relations commerciales et agir comme contact direct avec les clients actuels et les prospects.
- Rédaction de propositions, de présentations et de publications communiquées aux clients actuels et aux prospects.
EXIGENCES:
- Maîtrise, diplômé d’une école de commerce ou d’ingénieurs de tout premier plan.
- Au moins 3 à 4 ans d’expérience en finance (audit, évaluation, fusions et acquisitions, autres analyses financières).
- Solides connaissances techniques en finance d’entreprise, méthodes d’évaluation et comptabilité (IFRS et normes françaises).
- Solides compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes, ainsi qu’excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite.
- Esprit de leadership, y compris expérience dans la gestion et l’établissement de relations commerciales.
- Goût pour le travail d’équipe, ainsi que pour la supervision et l’encadrement d’équipes juniors.
- Solide capacité de modélisation financière et maîtrise des outils logiciels.
