Location: Stamford CT – Hybrid Position – Onsite 2 days a week

Job Type: Contract

If Contract - Duration: 4 Months – Possible to Extend

Contract Daily Rate: $ 800

 

GFT is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for managing product implementation on the fixed income side. This professional will engage with all functions within the company and ensure technology is ready to support implementation.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Works closely with business partners to understand needs, defines cross functional plan, project scope etc.
• Manages workstream project managers and ensure Project plan in line with the company`s Project Management Methodology
• Proposes and implements operating model and delivery plans
• Reviews plans and milestones with Project Board and Program Board;
• Obtains approval for changes
• Manages risk, issues and dependencies
• Clears path and escalates issues accordingly
• Enters and maintains RAG
• Schedules date/comments milestones
• Raises change control requests
• Supports quality assurance reviews
• Manages Project Financials
• Interacts with Senior Management and articulates and escalates issues
• Manages delivery objectives within scope
• Reports metrics to ensure project deliveries are tracked, accurately reported, and met
• Follows company`s Project framework using Agile principles

 

Requirements:

 

• Must have product knowledge of Fixed Income projects
• Must have previous experience with Broadbridge
• Must have 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
• Must have 5+ years’ experience working in Agile projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project and Visio
• Strong leadership, influencing and problem-solving skills
• Must be detail oriented 
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills
• Ability to build cross regional relationships
