Elayn Hunt Correctional Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Practical Nurse—Licensed 3 to join our committed healthcare team. Job Duties:- Provides direct nursing care to offenders, including administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient responses in accordance with established medical protocols.
- Assists physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses with clinical procedures, examinations, and emergency interventions, ensuring proper preparation, support, and follow-up care.
- Performs advanced practical nursing tasks such as wound care, specimen collection, catheter care, blood glucose monitoring, and other delegated clinical duties requiring enhanced skill and judgment.
- Observes and evaluates patient conditions, reporting significant changes to supervisory medical staff and contributing to ongoing care planning and patient management.
- Maintains accurate and timely medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
