Responsibilities:

  • As ADI’s Senior Manufacturing Data Director, you will be responsible for leading the modernization, accessibility, and connectivity of ADI’s manufacturing data.

  • Partner with the manufacturing and supply chain organizations to understand their data and analytics needs and develop a strategy and data architecture to address them.

  • Work with our internal and external fabs to collect, secure, and syndicate their data to enable new analytics, AI/ML applications, and business process optimization.

  • Guide the expansion of our data products and solutions by advising and influencing business leaders and senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.

  • Drive cross-domain data connectivity by working with Sales, Finance, and Engineering to integrate the manufacturing data strategy into a cohesive corporate strategy.

  • Build scalable data models, drive data ownership, and set up data engineering practices and pipelines to deliver robust, high-quality data products.

  • Work with AI/ML teams to enable fast experimentation and deployment of AI solutions, both within manufacturing and across the enterprise.

  • Communicate the value of data clearly by articulating both the high-level concept and detailed user stories for feature enhancements and convince teams to adopt data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, including 5+ years working in data engineering or data management.

  • 5+ years leading technical teams and managing complex data projects and pipelines.

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Experience with large-scale manufacturing or supply chain processes and the associated data and analytics challenges.  Experience in the semiconductor space is a plus.

  • Deep knowledge of data ownership, data catalogues, master data management, and unstructured data management (e.g., images, text, etc.).

  • Experience defining and managing data products, including ownership of data products through their entire lifecycle.

  • Experience with modern data and analytics tech stacks.

  • A confident influencer with strong communication skills who quickly establishes credibility and is capable of leading cross-functional teams.

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $210,400 to $289,300.
