Job Description

Client, Project, and People Management​ 

  • Build and maintain trusting, collaborative relationships with clients; serve as day-to-day lead client contact and trusted advisor who stewards the business and ensures alignment on objectives and expectations  

  • Oversees project management workflow and collaborates with cross-functional team members to set timelines, negotiate solutions, problem-solve both internal and client-facing issues, and prioritize work based on effort and impact  

  • Acts as gate-keeper in identifying red flags and ways to mitigate risks  

  • Facilitates cross-department collaboration from end-to-end of campaign lifecycle, from planning efforts to campaign execution and optimization to measurement and recaps  

  • Leads development of presentations, performance recaps, POVs, and merchandising materials    ​ 

  • Manages and mentors junior team members​ 

  • Proactively seeks and implements workflow efficiencies and enhancements for self and team ​ 

  • Assists with onboarding for new internal team members and/or new client contacts​ 

  • Actively contributes to maintaining positive team morale; coordinates team events and celebrations for personal and professional achievements​ 

  • Comfortable managing and working with large and complex teams – directly and indirectly with junior talent as well as cross-discipline and cross-agency; capable of effectively managing up and down the reporting structure ​and with diverse stakeholders and personalities  

Media Planning & Strategy Support 

  • Understands client goals/objectives at the deepest level and effectively translates direction to the team, leveraging this perspective when providing feedback to the team; partners with cross-functional team members to ensure it comes through in deliverables and day-to-day management ​ 

  • Demonstrates understanding of media principles and tactical application  

  • Support and manage the preparation, development, and stewardship of media plans for account, in partnership with a cross-functional team of media practitioners 

  • Contributes to management and oversight of ongoing account finances, from client budget approvals to pacing updates and billing  

  • Contributes to evaluation of media performance to determine the extent to which media objectives and strategies were accomplished  

  • Contributes to monitoring and socialization of relevant insights into existing and emerging media opportunities with awareness of available media and marketing services partners  

  • Identify opportunities and assist senior team members in growing business opportunities within existing clients  

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing with at least 2-3 years of experience with paid media  

  • Exhibits a professional and trustworthy demeanor 

  • Ability to problem solve and think critically about communications/deliverables​ 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills ​ 

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail​ 

  • Comfortable working in fast paced, dynamic team environment​ 

  • Thorough knowledge of media tactics and channels, current knowledge of trends and innovations in traditional and digital media, and experience working with media and analytics/data science teams to generate performance forecasting and/or deeper analysis to guide decision making​ 

  • Ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights to guide strategy

  • Experience with managing projects against deadlines across multiple stakeholders​ 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook​ 

  • Managerial experience is a plus​

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
