<p>We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to drive our Skills and Talent Optimization program—an effort that supports our shift toward becoming a skills-based organization. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a multi-year transformation that directly impacts how we develop, mobilize, and grow talent across Sandvik.</p><p></p><p><b>About us and your new team</b></p><p>This role sits within Sandvik AB and is part of a cross-functional team working closely with HR, business leaders, and digital enablers. Together, we’re building the foundation for agile workforce planning, internal mobility, and data-driven talent decisions. The team is collaborative, forward-thinking, and committed to delivering long-term value to the organization.</p><p></p><p><b>Your mission</b></p><p>As Senior Project Manager, you lead the end-to-end delivery of the Skills and Talent Optimization initiative. The role includes planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and change management across multiple workstreams. You ensure alignment with our broader HR strategy and business goals, while managing complexity and driving sustainable outcomes.</p><p></p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Leading the full project lifecycle from 2025 through 2028, with potential for extension</li><li>Coordinating workstreams such as Job Framework, Learning &amp; Performance, and Internal Career Mobility</li><li>Engaging with stakeholders across Sandvik to ensure clarity, alignment, and buy-in</li><li>Communicating progress and insights to steering committees and leadership teams</li><li>Supporting change management and adoption of new processes and systems</li></ul><p></p><p>The position starts in September 2025 at 50% capacity, increasing to full-time in 2026. The scope may be extended depending on project needs and your interest.</p><p></p><p>Based in Stockholm, the role requires a strong on-site presence during the initial phase. Hybrid work arrangements are possible thereafter. You report to Sandvik AB and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the organization.</p><p></p><p><b>Your profile</b></p><p>We’re looking for a candidate with extensive experience in project management, ideally within HR, digital transformation, or organizational development. A degree in Business, HR, IT, or a related field is required, and a Master’s degree is considered a plus. You hold a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum), and experience with change management frameworks such as Prosci/ADKAR is highly valued. Familiarity with tools like Workday, Miro, and MS Teams is expected.</p><p></p><p>Success in this role requires a structured and proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape. You’re comfortable working independently, building trust across functions, and adapting to evolving priorities.
