Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Lead to join our team in support of a major opportunity with the Maryland Department of Labor. The Technical Lead must have a full understanding of the technical approach to be used by the Contractor’s development team and will be responsible for ensuring that the Contractor’s development team follows that approach. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing digital services for a government entity (Federal, State, or Local), with a strong preference for candidates with State of Maryland experience.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement the technical approach to be used by the Contractor’s development team
  - Ensure that the Contractor’s development team follows the technical approach
  - Support agile product initiation, requirements refinement and design, development, testing, deployment, project management, and rollout
  - Function as a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team including Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Quality Assurance Software Testers
  - Identify potential obstacles to efficient development and include plans to overcome those potential obstacles
  - Provide services through a joint venture, teaming partner, or subcontractors as needed
  - Ensure that the technical work is in compliance with the United States Web Design System and the State of Maryland Information Technology Security Manual

·         Requirements:

• Proven skill and experience using Ruby-on-Rails for business logic with React js front-end
• Proven experience leading large development effeorts
• Experience with several technology stacks
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree
