Entry Level - Facade Engineers, Facade Specialists

DeSimone is currently seeking qualified candidates for ALL LEVELS in our Facades practice. Open positions include Facade Engineers, Facade Specialists, and Project Managers.
Entry level positions will start at $60,000, dependent upon education, practical experience and geographic location.

All Entry Level positions will require the following MINIMUM qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
• Practical experience through internship or similar study, with a variety of systems and materials,
  including drawings and diagrams
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Competency in statics / structural analysis
  • Competency in thermal analysis
  • Knowledge of glass products and glass processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of aluminum processing and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Rhino software
  • Knowledge of LBNL-Therm, LBNL-Window, Revit software preferred
  • Ability to work successfully in a collaborative team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to seek and nurture client relationships

At DeSimone, we believe in transparency when it comes to salary and hourly rates for our job postings. Our pay range represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that we think, in good faith, we might be willing to pay, for the posted job in the specified location(s).

For this particular position, we expect to hire near the middle of the range. To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates with at least 0-1 years of experience in the industry, Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred. 

We understand that there may be rare and exceptional circumstances where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position. In these cases, we may consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
