Due to our continuing growth, we are looking for an experienced SAP Developer to join our Payment Engine scrum team.

This position is based in Germany with the option to work from one of your office locations in Munich, Berlin or Walldorf, home-office based or a combination of the two.

About the role

As a Senior SAP Developer, you will work together with us to improve and enhance the Payment Engine solution by solving core module challenges and developing innovative new features. Your responsibilities will include:

• Partner with our banking customers to understand the business needs and align project scope
• Translate the business requirements into a software that brings the most value to the customer
• Leverage your expertise to ensure the software is developed in accordance with industry standards and best practices in performance, reliability, and security
• Support customers in software adoption while providing an excellent service
• Program in ABAP and perform software testing while striving to develop the best solution possible for our customers

Requirements

• A University degree in Computer Science, Natural Science or relevant areas of studies
  
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Banking modules, ideally with a specialization on Payment Engine covering architecture, configuration, and end-to-end process flow
• Advanced ABAP programming skills
• Customer orientation and strong focus on quality
• The adaptability to succeed in agile, cross-functional teams, with good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• An enthusiasm to learn, and willingness to adapt to change and always look for ways to fully leverage your abilities no matter the task at hand
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
