Associate - Cybersecurity

Overview

Seeking a cybersecurity professional with over 2 years of hands-on experience, specializing in Microsoft Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Security Operations Center (SOC) functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Microsoft IAM solutions (such as Azure AD, Active Directory) and demonstrate proficiency in SOC operations, incident response, and security monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Manage user accounts, groups, and access permissions using Microsoft IAM tools (Azure AD, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Maintaining access controls, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and periodic access reviews
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, ensuring compliance with organizational policies
  • Administer daily IAM operations and maintain up-to-date documentation
  • Support integration of IAM solutions with cloud and on-premises applications
• Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other SOC tools
  • Perform initial triage, analysis, and escalation of security incidents
  • Investigate threats and vulnerabilities, contributing to incident response efforts
  • Collaborate with SOC team members to enhance detection and response capabilities
  • Participate in post-incident reviews and recommend improvements to processes and controls
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on IAM and SOC operations
• Technical expertise in Microsoft IAM (Azure AD, Active Directory, etc.)
• Experience with SOC operations, including incident detection, analysis, and response
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals or equivalent
• CompTIA Security+ or other relevant SOC certifications
• Experience with multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and role-based access controls
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS) and security frameworks
• Knowledge of IAM best practices, governance, and compliance requirements
