Responsibilities:
- Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuitry to meet customer's requirements
- Provide in-depth circuit analysis, and present it for review
- Build circuit schematics and harnessing diagrams
- Write test plans for circuit card assemblies and sub-system electronics
- Conduct circuit card assembly testing and integration
- Troubleshoot circuit card assemblies using various test equipment (DMMs, digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, waveform generators, power supplies, etc.)
- Develop specification and requirement for electrical components
- Contribute to the overall success of the project by working closely with other team members throughout the design and integration process
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience and Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
- Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
- Understanding of aviation electrical systems designs and hardware integration
- Exposure to simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes
- Familiar with Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include, Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)
- Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture
- Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools
