FINANCIAL PROGRAM ANALYST

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience analyzing, evaluating, and implementing fiscal decisions based on financial data, program factors and the Department of War (DoW) Financial Management Regulation (FMR), such as development and maintenance of annual spend plans and phasing plans. -Experience entering a variety of financial transactions from entry to payment. -Experience identifying and resolving suspense transactions such as civilian pay, reimbursables, G-invoicing or similar transactions. -Experience performing complex financial operations in a team setting, such as identification and resolution of problem disbursements. -Experience generating written summaries of financial data to inform customers and management regarding funding status, policy compliance, and correcting deficiencies.
