Data Entry Assistant (Fashion Industry)

Our Company:  BCI BRANDS distributes Vince Camuto, CECE, 1-State, and designs, manufactures, and markets women's apparel. The company offers blouses, jackets, tops, skirts, sweaters, and printed maxi dresses.  To meet our operational and growth expectations, we require a Data Entry Clerk in our New York office.

We're looking for a Data Entry Assistant to enter all data relating to garments developed using our custom software. An ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who is excited to work in a rapidly evolving office. This is a non-exempt position with the potential for overtime offering $24/hour.

Reports to: Design Manager

Responsibilities:

 Data Entry

·        Submitting copyrights to the United States Copyright office

·        Organizing and compiling information

·        Verifying accuracy and sorting information for computer entry

·        Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors

·        Correcting any incompatibilities

·        Working with the design team to gather all necessary data in a timely manner

Requirements

 ·       Must have 1-3 years of data entry experience

·        Strong problem-solving and execution skills. Operationally-minded.

·        Detailed oriented with a keen eye for accuracy

·        Comfortable entering and retrieving data from multiple systems in a fast-paced environment

·        Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift focus as needed

·        Strong follow-through skills, especially following up with multiple teams to get the information needed to resolve pending purchase orders

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to write succinct messages and communicate clearly

·        Good working knowledge of Excel
