Clinical Research Project Manager AJob Description Summary
Position will provide project management support to the Penn Center for Quantitative Echocardiography. This person will provide oversight and coordination of day to day activities under the supervision of the Assoc. Director of Research Operations and the PI/medical director.Job Description
This position is contingent upon favorable funding.
Job Responsibilities
Work with core lab sonographers, medical director, and supervisor to meet core lab deadlines and milestones, and ensure timely and accurate data submission. Ensure echoes are logged and stored appropriately, with routine back-up. Ensure sonographers have access to the studies they need to analyze in a timely fashion.
Communicate with Core Lab sponsors regarding study execution and with participating sites to ensure adequate training, respond to questions, address queries, and provide feedback; manage and coordinate study start up activities including database development, preparation of manuals, development of study logs, and training study team.
Support core lab data management, including executing routine data QC/QA activities.
Coordinate with internal teams utilizing core lab acquisition services to facilitate SIV/study start-up processes in collaboration with manager, senior sonographer, and medical director. Provide users with instructions on scheduling echoes and work with supervisor to enforce scheduling policies as needed.
Prepare core lab IRB submissions, modifications, and renewals.
Supervise student workers.
Assist in development and maintenance of SOPs for echo core.
Work with the business office and appropriate staff to ensure timely and accurate invoicing for echo acquisition and quantitation.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
