Electrical Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Performing on-site inspections of new and existing electrical installations to secure compliance with local and State ordinances and regulations of governing the installation, repair, and operation of electrical equipment.
• Review of drawings, writing of specifications, and monitoring electrical contractor work.

Requirements:

• 20 years' experience as an electrician is required, with five years' experience with inspection work required.
• Must have basic arithmetic knowledge
• Must have good written communication skills and basic computer operator skills

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
