What We Are Looking For
The Quality Control position ensures that all company and contractual quality standards are met across project sites. This role manages the development, implementation, and maintenance of company policies and contract regulations while proactively identifying areas for improvement. Success in this role means maintaining high-quality documentation, ensuring compliance, and fostering collaboration between teams to deliver top-quality project outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and manage contract schedules and detailed agreements.
- Prepare, update, and organize all records related to contract jobs.
- Communicate proactively with project management and superintendents regarding issues, opportunities, and change orders.
- Monitor and evaluate site and subcontractor performance to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and quality procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of construction experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Control within construction or disaster recovery projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to develop alternative solutions.
- Team-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality improvement.
