ESS Generalist

The primary responsibility of an ESS Generalist is to support our Project Coordinators with various daily tasks associated with our customers and/or markets by handling inbound phone calls and chats, updating information through data entry, submitting 811 tickets in a timely manner, scheduling customer orders and closing out jobs.

An ESS Generalist will be expected to demonstrate skills such as attention to detail, willingness to learn, ability to adapt, possess a sense of urgency during peak volume times throughout the day and an ability to prioritize workloads.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Internet-related applications such as email and web browsers with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
• Maintain 811 certification credentials. Understanding of laws and regulations that require contacting 811 before digging work starts on any project.
• Ability to report to and operate out of the assigned office location daily.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

Schedule:

• This position is typically scheduled 5-6 days a week, for at least 8-hours a day, and may start as early as 6am.
• There may be weekends and/or holidays required as needed.

Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen to include a drug test.
