About the Role
Responsible for performing analysis in accordance with analytical methods and for maintaining the study binder and QC of analytical data with guidance. Responsible for conducting validation studies based on provided analytical methods and maintaining the study binder and QC of validation data with guidance.


What You’ll do Here
• Understand and follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Prepare reagents and standards for analysis
• Understand and implement analytical methods according to applicable GLP regulations and SOP’s
• Participate in validation of analytical methods under the direction of the scientist
• Perform analysis on study samples
• Understand the operation of the lab equipment
• Maintain and organize study binders
• Responsible for data quality control (QC) as appropriate
• Ensure analytical standards or reference materials are handled and stored in an acceptable manner
• Attends protocol review meetings as appropriate
• Ensures appropriate maintenance of equipment
 

What You’ll Need to Succeed
• BS in a scientific field, preferably chemistry, analytical chemistry or pharmaceutical science
• Previous lab experience performing UV and LC analysis preferred
• Conduction analysis experience in a GLP/GMP preferred
• Experience using pipettes and basic lab equipment required
• Basic computer experience including Microsoft Office suite, database familiarity and analytical instrumentation software
• English proficiency required to read and interpret documents such as industry specific manuals
• Capable of instructing others in day-to-day activities
• Basic math skills
• Solid reasoning abilities
