About the Fueling Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs Podcast

The Fueling Tomorrow's Entrepreneurs podcast is crafted for LaunchX’s highly ambitious and high-achieving audience, inspiring the next generation of business leaders. Through the stories of successful entrepreneurs, investors, Thiel Fellows, Forbes 30 Under 30 trailblazers, LaunchX alumni, and more, each episode provides valuable insights on how anyone can build their own path to success.

Commitment: 

This is a flexible, temporary part-time position averaging 5 hours per week, with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities: 

  • Edit audio files using GarageBand or Final Cut Pro to ensure high-quality sound by removing background noise, errors, and unnecessary pauses.
  • Work independently to create digital assets and visual content as needed.
  • Manage the timely delivery of each podcast episode, maintaining a consistent twice-monthly release schedule.
  • Communicate proactively with the host(s) regarding specific content needs or revisions prior to editing.
  • Organize and archive raw audio files, scripts, and finalized episodes for easy access and future reference.
  • Opportunity to take on expanded responsibilities, including potential co-hosting of episodes, based on interest and availability.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to maintain a cohesive style, tone, and overall podcast brand identity.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen ear for audio quality and clean editing.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining open and consistent communication with the team.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines reliably.
  • A genuine passion for podcasts and storytelling.
  • (Optional) Previous experience in audio mixing, sound design, editing, and storytelling.
  • (Optional) Interest in co-hosting, with the ability to engage in dynamic conversation and contribute thoughtfully to episode content.

Compensation

This is an intern-level paid position with a compensation of $15 USD per hour or the local minimum wage, whichever is higher.
