Maintenance Manager - Egegik

E&E Foods is launching a search for a Full-Time Year-Round, Maintenance Manager at our Coffee Point in Egegik, Alaska. This position will be on-site in Egegik, Alaska approximately 4 months annually. In this role, the ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks ensuring the proper running of all plant systems, including but not limited to the powerhouse, refrigeration, production lines, water system, kitchen and bunkhouse and buying stations. In addition, they will uphold and demonstrate compliance with company policies and procedures.

Must be able to motivate and lead a Maintenance team.

Excellent mechanical and maintenance skills are required.

Must have 2 years experience with ammonia and refrigeration systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

The maintenance manager will perform a variety of tasks that include supervising all maintenance and truck shop staff, assist in the planning and execution of plant upgrades, assist in the recruiting and retention of maintenance staff, maintaining inventories of the necessary plant maintenance supplies and maintain clear and open communication with management. The work environment is weather dependent: ranging from warm and sunny to cold, windy and wet. Working outdoors in a varying weather is a given in this position.
