Seasonal team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

This is a Seasonal position until mid-June

Requirements

• ONE 20 MINUTE PAID LUNCH ON ALL 3 SHIFTS

(ALL EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE PREPARED TO WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK WITH ADVANCE NOTICE)

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

You will operate a HYUNDAI Stand-Up Reach Truck. The position of (Forklift Operator) will be a person that is responsible for pulling covers with the forklift and unloading covers to the unboxing station. So, as well as operating the forklift, this person will have to get on and off the lift and move boxes from the inventory racks as well.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• The Bindery Department Lead will print out a report showing the jobs that need to have the yearbook covers pulled from the warehouse and unboxed.
• Remove the cover boxes from the warehouse
• Remove the covers from the cover boxes
• Fan through the covers for quality issues (specific guidance will be given to address quality issues).

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Understand procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two -step instructions and to deal with ordinary, standardized situations.
• Ability to perform very basic math skills including adding; subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers; and operations with units such as inch, foot, yard; ounce, and pound.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
