The Opportunity
This position is an onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. As an Associate Director, project leadership, you will be responsible for Managing one or more projects with moderate to high complexity. Expedite, manage, and coordinate a multitude of interrelated activities within constraints of limited human and financial resources and changing priorities. Complies with quality system. May be required to establish / manage project budget.
In this role, you will lead high-performing cross-functional teams to ensure speed and innovation remain a core competency and that the team is focused, energized and on-track to meet the overall strategic and commercial objectives of our product launches.
This position requires natural leadership and a high level of independence, the ability to collect, synthesize, and integrate information from multiple sources, and to resolve conflicting requirements and cross-functional issues. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.
What You’ll Do
- Define, plan, coordinate and integrate activities associated with existing products updates or geographic expansion commercialization within the overall business portfolio on time, on budget and on strategy. These activities include coordination of artwork and labeling, in-house and third-party manufacturing, inventory phase in and phase out, procurement and other activities.
- Coordinate input from multiple areas or multiple project managers on related projects. Identify resource requirements, cost, and time schedules. Develop an implementation plan, conduct risk assessment, and develop contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen events.
