Director, Deal Operations

The Director, Deal Operations plays a critical role supporting sales and finance by ensuring efficient and accurate deal execution. This role is responsible for leading an efficient order management process that ensures the integrity of our revenue related data. She/He will identify and prioritize transformation opportunities, leveraging best practices in quote to cash technology and business process to globally drive change. A masterful communicator, he/she will motivate cross functional partners to embrace changes needed to scale our deal operations.   #LI-RS1  #LI-Remote

What You Will Do:

• Support and partner with the Sales, Customer Professional Services and Account Management Teams to maximize the deal execution process. 
• Maintain velocity and compliance for deal flow and order booking, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our orders and contracts.
• Ensure data integrity across Quote to Cash systems.
• Streamline and automate processes for deal approvals and order management.
• Identify and drive implementation of operational process improvements in Quote to Cash systems including Salesforce and CPQ.
• Partner with Business Systems team to evaluate and help implement technologies that improve operational effectiveness.
• Partner with Deal Desk, Revenue Accounting, Billing, Legal and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with our operational and GTM policies.
• Define operational deal metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the order management process.
• Assist in the development of a long term strategy for development of internal order management controls and implementation of SOX. 
• Lead and mentor a global team

What You Will Bring:

• 10+ years of relevant experience working in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Order Management, Finance or related role at a high growth company (preference for those in SaaS / technology)
• Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of a variety of finance technologies including Salesforce, CPQ, Netsuite, etc
• Deep understanding of best practices in Quote to Cash operations
• Comfortable leading teams through ambiguity and be a champion of change
• High emotional intelligence, ability to build and sustain relationships at multiple levels within the organization
• Passionate and persistent about operational excellence
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, active listener, tailors communication to the audience
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills with decision-making capacity in a high growth environment
• Ability to identify, develop and mentor high performing talent
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Related Field

Salary range and description

Min $180,000 - Max $230,000 USD per year

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. In addition to the base salary and annual bonus target and an equity component is included in the compensation package.
