The Field Leadership Development Business Engagement and Alignment lead will work closely with leaders across the field and throughout Wealth Management to identify the greatest opportunities for manager development. The candidate will be supporting the Field Management Chief of Staff and Head of Field Leadership Development on overall strategic vision and execution of current and new leadership development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic plan for manager development programs that align with organizational objectives and drive leadership excellence.
- Program Design and Implementation: Create innovative and effective development programs tailored to the needs of managers at various levels, incorporating best practices in leadership training and development.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to identify skill gaps and development needs, ensuring programs are relevant and impactful.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of development programs and make data-driven improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Learning and Development, and other relevant teams to integrate manager development programs into broader talent management strategies.
- Budget Management: Oversee the budget for manager development initiatives, ensuring cost-effective program delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of industry trends and emerging practices in leadership development to continuously enhance program offerings.
Education and/or Experience:
- 5 or more years of industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable development initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational skills

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and$250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
