Do you enjoy working on data-driven teams and directly impacting customer-facing systems?

The Caterer Reliability team is focused on achieving the most reliable catering network possible by optimizing catering partner performance against our suite of key metrics. You’ll be joining a team that partners closely with analysts, researchers, and business partners to identify problems and is empowered to propose creative solutions across a variety of caterer and customer-facing systems to support our goal. This means working on anything from enhancing the quality of data we collect to developing new catering partner tools to integrating machine learning models into our order management process.

What You'll Do:

• Join a highly collaborative team that is focused on delighting our customers/catering partners, executing the organization's mission, and propelling our business forward.
• Build products utilizing Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, React, Typescript, Next.js and other technologies.
• Work closely with product, design, research, and analytics to ensure we build the right things the right way.
• Decompose problems, design technical solutions, and work with other talented engineers to implement, test, and evaluate your team’s work.
• Communicate with your team to ensure mission clarity, and provide technical direction.
• Improve our user experience by increasing the capability and efficiency of our systems and products; based on research, data and metrics.
• Share ideas for improving the product, technology and/or process.
• Operate with scale and speed embracing new challenges and contributing to the development lifecycle.
• Have fun building meaningful software with awesome people.

What You Have: 

• Fullstack experience on a product engineering team, ideally in Ruby on Rails.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency with React/Typescript is nice to have.
• Exposure to GraphQL is an asset, but not a requirement.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Postgres? Even better.
• An appetite for learning, experimentation, relentless curiosity and an ability to leverage what you learn to make our products better. 
• A thirst for personal and professional growth.

The national cash compensation range for this role is  $141,000 - $175,000*.
