POSITION PURPOSE
The Registered Nurse (RN) who specialize’ s in Medical Surgical, Dialysis or Psychiatric care. They will utilize their broad-based clinical knowledge to effectively assess, implement health promotion and prevention interventions, manage acute and chronic illnesses, assist patients in the attainment of optimal levels of functioning rehabilitation, evaluate patient response to actual or potential health problems, and provide supportive measures for the dying patient and their significant others. Nursing care shall be performed in accordance with the American Nursing Association’s Standards of Care and Standards of Professional Performance, and within the individual nurse’s scope of license.

SCHEDULE/WAGE/BENEFITS
- Work eight (8) and or ten (10) and or twelve (12) hour shifts or a combination, with rotating weekends and holidays.
- Hourly Range: $34 – 42 hourly + Fully Benefit Package
- Comprehensive Benefit Package including Medical/ Dental/ Vision/ Life/ 401k % Match/ Wellness etc.
- Benefits effective 1st of the month after hire date.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Executing medical regimens including administering medications and treatments prescribed by a licensed or otherwise legally authorized provider.
- Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others.
- Registered nurse is a proficient nurse who demonstrates proficiency in decision-making and using the nursing process for complex situations that effect performance outcomes at the point of care.
- Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, also evaluating direct and indirect nursing care outcomes.
- Possesses the knowledge and skills to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting.
- Responsible and accountable for maintaining BLS (and ACLS if required) and performing activities that reflect the educational
- Provides care and counseling of persons or in the promotion and maintenance of health and prevention of illness and injury based upon the nursing process which includes systematic data gathering, assessment, appropriate nursing judgment, and evaluation of human responses.
- Performs ongoing assessment of patient condition and response to treatment.
- Provides leadership in establishing goals, evaluating the plan of care, and in discharge planning.
- Assesses the patient's learning needs, learning preference, and readiness to learn.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care experience from recent 3 years
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience performing hemodialysis on patients who are hospitalized in an acute setting, and experience with dialysis of patients in intensive care unit setting. and (must have worked within the last six months in a Dialysis setting – if applying for Dialysis RN.)
- Proficient in office automation equipment and software.
