What will you do?
A day in the life of a Executive Assistant at VF looks a little like this.
The Executive Assistant will provide primary support to three senior level leaders. In this role, you will act as a confidant to these leaders and must easily adapt to changing individual and business needs.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Completes daily administrative tasks that include expert calendar management, detailed and complex travel coordination (both domestic and international), expense reporting and creation and management of various correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Serves as the liaison between executives, managers and other internal and external stakeholders as required. Reviews requests and schedules appointments, interviews, and meetings.
Enters and/or approves department bills as needed to ensure timely payment for professional services and vendors.
Streamlines internal processes and systems to improve communication and internal culture on the team.
Corresponds with a variety of stakeholders (internal and external) in a highly responsive and professional manner while handling highly confidential information.
Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns as requested; respond or bring issues forward as appropriate.
Plans, coordinates, and ensures the Executives' schedules are followed and respected. Provide "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the Executives’ time.
Maintains highly professional and effective relationships with other Executive Assistants across the company to ensure smooth communication and coordination across the enterprise.
Assists with meeting planning and set up; schedules conference rooms, orders catering, secures technology and other resources as required.
Develops and maintains good working relationships throughout the organization by exhibiting outstanding customer service skills with all internal and external stakeholders.
Performs these and other departmental duties as assigned.
